See that picture? You are going to click it, and you’re going to add James to your friend list on MySpace.
No really. You are gonna do it, or I’m gonna blast ya. Me an QT have already added him, and we want you to do your part, so get clicking.
“This is me with my son James who i worship. James has recently been diagnosed with Leukaemia and we decided to set up this account to see how many new friends we could make. Professional artist Tommy Lee Edwards has done work for some rather iconic characters over the years. Harry Potter, Superman, and even the Man in Black himself, Darth Vader. This time though, he’s doing work that really matters, and I think we all need to give him our support.
Edwards will be taking part in this years “Ride For Kids” which is an annual motorcycle ride that raises money to benefit kids the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Not only will he brave the roads of your planet (Hey, I’ve seen the way you people drive!), but he’s also putting up an exclusive limited edition Star Wars related print for every person that donates $30 or more (First come, first served).
There. Now you have two good reasons to send the guy some support in the way of donating to the cause.
Okay… this is just plain cool, and I don’t care how you comb your hair. There are multi-legged MT-ATs, and this little gem is damned close. With some better traction on the foot pads, this thing looks as if it would flat out haul buttocks.
It has often been said that Jedi are very similar to your planet’s own Samurai from history, and that the saber styles are also almost parallel. That being said, I guess it was only matter of time before the art of the “saber” was truely introduced to the art of the sword, and Namco/Bandai are bridging the gap in this year’s upcoming incarnation of “Soul Calibur”.
It’s that time of year when every child sucks up to the fat guy in the red suit. No. Not THIS Fat Guy in a red suit… Santa Claus. Need some ideas for gifts for that special child, or SW geek? Look no further then this brilliant catalog of toys from mcmorran.org.
The race for my personal favorite is a close one, but the Planet Alderaan just barely nudges out the dead Ewok… Just barely. Had it been a squished Ewok with an AT-ST footprint on it, it would have won, but hey, bits of rock from a former Rebel stronghold? Priceless.
Yeah, I’m well aware that others have brought these up on their blogs already, but I post things when I’m damned good and ready, so deal.
On Starwars.com there’s a series called “How to Draw Star Wars” which is a great little deal for children… and those who wish to learn how to draw Star Wars stuff. I’m posting about the following link, not just because I think everyone can benefit from such lessons, or even because it’s an Imperial, but because of the website that decided to repost it.
TeamSugar is “the place for you to meet friends, discuss the latest gossip, share online shopping finds, dish on fashion, learn beauty secrets, swap delicious recipes, blog about your day and much, much more. There are currently 38,071 people online. ”
To me, the website appears to aimed at members of the fairer, and much more desirable sex. Women/Girls/Grrls. QT will undoubtedly fall in love with the place.
I guess the fact that such a website wants to show it’s members how to draw Biker Scouts just tickles me, so go check it out.
