This is one of my favorite fanfilms ever. 100% CGI Imperial recruiting piece created by Marco Spitoni. Good stuff here, as he shows the glory of the Empire, from the lowest new recruits, all the way to the magnificiant warships that keep your Galaxy safe.
Be certain to check out the other gems on his site, as the guy has some serious talent.
You will most likely need to download DivX to view his stuff, but it’s well worth it, and WAY easier then the Bink system he used to do everything in.

In the last post, JR commented about “the Injured Stormtrooper” with the following:
“This is possibly the funniest fan film ever made. I challenge anyone to find one better.”
Challange accepted.
Kevin Rubio is one of the genuinely funniest people in the business, and due to this gem of a film he made in 1997, he now writes for Dark Horse Comics, penning the amazingly clever and brilliant “Star Wars: Tag & Bink are Dead”, which, if you haven’t read it yet, get it NOW, damnit.
Anyhow, TROOPS is the recent grand daddy of ALL FanFilms, and why so many people decided to make them themselves. Kevin proved it could be done, done well, and funny as Hell.
Also, what makes this film so great is that is shows a really accurate depection of the average Sandtrooper. We’re just guys who joined the Army, and we’re here to serve and protect. Not to mention it also shows a bit more evidence that Sandtroopers did NOT kill the Lars couple.
T.R.O.O.P.S. Film
I’m a big fan of these little flicks you folks on this rock make. While most of them are usually more of the same Rebel loving swill that makes me do the technicolor yawn inside my bucket, every so often there’s one that I actually find entertaining. This short film is one of those.
Funny stuff. You might want to have a look.

Just finished reading “Star Wars: Republic Commando - Triple Zero this morning during my usual water break in Mos Eisley. Holy shit, is this a great book!!

Karen Traviss Brings two things to Star Wars novels that have always been sorely absent. The Military, and a real look at Troopers. Grant it, these are Clones she writes about, but a lot of the manerisms, behavior and operations are the same today in the Empire. If you’ve never read the Republic Commando series, then you need to get on that ASAP.
