Today this planet full of simpletons has lost a great and “brilliant” guy named Joe “Mason Rocket” Murphy. I’ve known this was coming and have been affected internaly by this entire series of events more then I’ve cared to admit up to this point, and with the exception of what you’ve just read….. I’m at a loss for words.
Give the Joe Murphy Memorial Fund a look, please, and have a beer for him.

I am not surprised by the support that the SF community has shown! On this crazy planet there are a few sane ones and we all try to get together when we can. I wish I had a chance to meet and talk with Joe!
He will be missed, I have enjoyed everything that I have heard him talking about!

hey, I’m joe murphy’s cousin. I want to say it’s cool of you guys to do all of this for him. I didn’t know joe and it seems that only in his death am I thrown into his world to explore. I just wanted to say this is cool of you guys, and it seems like he had some good friends.
