Well, here’s your chance to own of piece of Star Wars history.  Obi-Wan Kenobi’s original robes from 1977 are going up for sale, and one can only hope that they’ve been washed since the old man bit the big one from the end of Vader’s saber.  I mean, the last thing your body does when you die is “let go”, right?  Which raises a question….  He gets hacked, dies, but his body disappears, but did it vanish soon enough before letting lose his “dark side”?  Did the Man in Black find “Count Dookie” in the robes when he was pushing at it with his boot?  And if he did, is that just some kind of sick joke Jedi Masters play on people?  Sort of a “Flaming bag of poop” last laugh thing??  I wouldn’t put it past them. 

They’re all nuts.

I don’t think I could ever repay bortQ for the incredible work he does for me here, and this latest installment is just more of the same from him.  Clever, funny, and a page out of my surreal life.  Inspired by the interview on “Jack Mangan’s Deadpan”, it’s just damned funny.

Gentle Giant is putting out two new sculptures soon, and to date, they might just end up being my favorites.  Star Wars LEGO Vader and Stormtrooper.  Obviously, I have my sights set on the little guy to the left here.  Thus far, the only pics being shown are CG rendered concepts, but it these are any indication, I’ll be a happy trooper.  For more information on this gem, check out this link.
