Well, fans will finally get what they’ve been craving for years.  A parade to honor the brave soldiers of the Empire!  I say it’s about time that the Empire finally got some lovin’ from this little rock of yours, and on January 1st, 2007, you’ll be able to see it for yourself on national television.  Troopers from all across the Galaxy are being brought in to represent their Units, and TK-2035, Mara Jen, and I are all going to be there to represent the Dune Sea.  That’s right, kiddies, the ADPoV Troopers are going to be there!  I couldn’t think of two better troopers to attend this galactic sized shindig with, and as for them?  Well, obviously, they are speechless at the honor of travelling with me as my sidekick, and hot, red-headed Sithy love slave.  Yup.  Can’t say I blame them, as anyone would kill for such a thrilling experience.  The part about hanging with me, of course… The Parade should be neat too, and I’m certain I’ll have a blast recieving the accolades to me that are far past over due.

If you’re going to be in the Pasadena Area on New Year’s Day, be sure to come out to the parade and cheer us on… and be sure to wear some of the great ADPoV Swag available now!  The rest of you, TiVo it, tape it, post it…all while wearing some ADPoV Swag, of course.

…by adding a Stormtrooper to the mix.  I will admit something here.  I love this line of Maquettes from Gentle Giant.  I especially love the females they’s done thus far, as the overall style just makes each gal look plain cute.  The Fett and Vader models are nice too, but now there’s finally one to grace the shelves in the Bunker.  The Trooper comes in at 8 inches tall, charging into battle.  Selling at the usual price of around $80, he’s affordable, and worth every penny, trust me.

You know, as we all take a moment to sit back and reflect on what we’re really thankful for, it’s always nice to find a kindred spirit you can spend some time with, throw back a few cold ones, and toast what’s important.

So there I am out on patrols when I find myself in the Mos RulaBula Cantina.  It didn’t take long for this beauty to see me from across the crowded bar and make her way over to me to show some love, and hell, who can blame her.  Remember what I’ve been saying about armor and moisture harvesters, kiddies.

 There’s just something about a woman in uniform that gets my temp up to the bazillions, and Ysanne Isard covers all those bases.  Scuttlebutt amoung the troops is that she’s a real frigid piece of work, earning her the nickname “Iceheart”, but it would appear that there’s one guy who can cause the frozen tundra to melt.  Me.  Man, them eyes, huh?  The rest of her’s not bad either, boys, trust me.

Politics is ugly and apparently not to be taken seriously; by even the canidates.  To see what I’m talking about, follow this link and watch what is alledgedly a REAL campaign commercial.  Go ahead, I’ll wait.

Back?  Okay, I’ll dispense with the, “Wow, those special effects sucks the sack of a Bantha” type comments, because it just doesn’t need to be said.

…and you got ripped off, pal.  Here’s a little piece of political advice from someone with charisma enough to lead throngs of people to do my bidding.  First, shoot your assistant out of an airlock immediately.  Second, if you don’t have an assistant, then hire one…and then shoot them out of an airlock immediately.  This shows the public that you mean business, and that you’re serious!  Next, with a face like that, it should be the very LAST thing the voters see, not the first.  Have someone kick you in the junk about three minutes before shooting the commercial.  This way, your anger and passion will really come across as genuine.  Because honestly, if you’re not passionate about the twig and berries, then I don’t want you near the kids….wait…if you are too passionate about them, I don’t want you near the children either.. Bah.  The method’s still gold, so run with it.  Trust me.

While I’m sure all your friends tell you that you look like the “40 Year Old Virgin“, and chances are, you might actually be one, this is no reason to announce it to the voters.  And a Jedi??  You want a position on the school board, and you chose to emulate the baby-stealers of the Galaxy??  What were you thinking???

Bah…  Politics is just damned ugly.
