That’s right, folks. Registration for Star Wars C4 (I cannot wait to write “C4″ on all my boxes to ship to Los Angeles for this) opened up Monday, October 30. You want more info on that? Here you go.
The event is happening in Los Angeles May 24 - 28, 2007, and I’m planning on being there, of course, even though I still haven’t been asked to host anything, even a simple panel where my billions of fans from across the galaxy can come and breathe the same air as me. It’s obviously a security concern, I’m sure, as the throngs of screaming, fainting females of all various species would be too much for the event organizers to bear. That being said, I’ll be there all four days, available for baby kissing, hand-shaking, babe kissing, signing of femme bodyparts (preferably still attached to the original owner… Yes, this means you, Daymean…you sicko), and recieving of gifts, free food and drink.
Follow the link, pay your money, and if someone fastidious would like to volunteer to host a database of ADPoV fans that will be attending C4, that would be keen. If there’s enough interest, maybe an organized breakfa– (Me? Awake for breakfast? Who am I kidding??) Lunch meet and greet could be done as well.
This is your chance to become immersed in all things Star Wars, and more importantly, your chance to bask in the glory that is me.
Oh yeah, and if you’re going, be sure to buy shirt from the ADPoV Swag shop to show your love to everyone there!

Got some mighty fine lovin’ from a Renne Faire Babe! Ya know, people have asked me often time to show up and grace the “medieval screwheads” with my presence, and I’ve just never been interested in subjecting myself to all of that “M’Lord thou hath-eth must-eth Try-eth mine fine flaggon-eth o’ ale….eth.”
But now I have TWO really good reasons to start attending these silly things, I think.
….and they bounced happily ever after.

Well, things have been hectic, trying, and downright frustrating for the past month or so, and it all led to my not getting any updates done to the ol’ stomping grounds here. Time for that to change, and for me to get back in the saddle and get some stuff done around here. I have a few new additions to the “Show the Love” area, as well as a brand, spankin’ new “TeeDee” comic to post. I’m also pledging to scan the waves and post my take on the latest or Hell, even oldest Star Wars related news items. Then there’s the whole PodCast thing too. No worries, kids. Uncle Dent is still alive and kicking, and keep it here for the aforementioned updates and other stuff sliding down the tract towards you.

…There’s a way for you to show your love, even in the Virtual World. I’m talking about the internet sensation, Second Life, which is rapidly growing each day with thousands joining for FREE every day. It took a lot of convincing from Tina Blackflag, Niavi, and TrooperFanGirl to get me into the game, as my heart still belongs to Star Wars Galaxies, despite Sony Online Entertainment’s repeated attempts to screw the entire game up. It’s crack, and I’m hooked, yeah. But now, I’ve been spending some time in Second Life, and I noticed a severe discrepancy. Something was missing from this “Snowblind”-esque “world”. ME. There was no ADPoV, so, thanks to Tina’s endless hard work, there now is….well, there will be soon.
The ADPoV Swag Shop will soon be open in the Game, Secondlife, and in it, you can buy all sorts of ADPoV related things there, including all the T-Shirts you see at the Zazzle Swag shop I set up a bit ago. You buy them in game, with game money, and your avatar (Toon/character/etc) can now show the love for ADPoV, as well as vastly improve their own appearance. You can buy posters of some of bortQ’s awesome work to decorate your virtual home, even buy some ADPoV jewelry to bestow TRUE love to your significant other. We’re also working on building some small virtual “radios” that will be jam packed with episodes of ADPoV, so you can let my own words of infinate wisdom back you up when visiting the Trek and Firefly sims in the game. You can even join the “ADPoV” group if you chose. There are some big plans for this lump of data, and there should be something for *everyone* in the shop. The virtual shop also serves as a testing ground for new shirt designs as they enter my brain, so you can even think of it as the ultimate place for a sneek peek of what’s to come.
Yup, ADPoV has reached the Virtual world, kiddies. Be afraid.
Keep an eye here for the announcement of it’s Grand Opening.

You know, if they just waited a couple months until december…..It still wouldn’t have made a damn bit of difference.
